Ryan Newman, Haas CNC Racing And Burger King?

Loading ...Well Jayski.com is reporting that Tony Stewart and HAAS/CNC has completed a deal and the JGR has let Tony out of his contract. Actually Chevy has agreed to buy out Stewart from JGR.
The kicker for Ryan Newman fans is that Jayski is also reporting that Ryan Newman WILL BE going with Tony Stewart.
The sponsor for Newman will be Burger King.
We can expect some sort of official announcement about car numbers as early as next week at Daytona.
Here is a little interesting point that not many people may know. Burger King is owned by one of the private equity companies that currently own Alltel (pre Verizon buyout).
THIS IS ONLY WHAT JAYSKI IS REPORTING, I AM WAITING FOR OFFICIAL WORD.
But since I first heard rumbles of Newman going with Stewart, I have pretty much bought into it.
The most important thing is that Newman get the equipment and sponsorship that he needs. No matter who or what sponsor it is.

I still think he would be better at RCR, but then again anything could be better than Penske right now. If he does go with the Burger King sponsor, him new nickname could be Ryan “The Whopper” Newman. That isn’t meant as a fat joke, but as a sponsor joke. We’ll see how it goes and irregardless Newman is still my favorite and I stand behind him. Hopefully he has better luck wherever he may land.
I am cool with whatever sponsor it may be.
And I am excited about Newman having a fresh start somewhere….where ever it may be.
But if it is Burger King…….I have to say that those Burger King commercials with “the king” are really creepy. In one of those they have the guy wake up in bed next to “The King” eating breakfast.
I hope Ryan does not have to do those commercials. They are just creepy. If the big headed KING is in the commercial….it’s creepy.
LOL!!! He can change the whole look of things huh? I know that the two of them can get this party started! It will make for a much more interesting season next year…..don’t you think?
The man reason why I think Ryan would make this move, is that they would bump Matt Borland (his former crew chief) to become his crew chief once again…
