Ryan Newman Qualifies 11th At Dover - The Monster Mile

Loading ...Ryan Newman and his #12 Alltel Dodge team have qualified 11th for the Best Buy 400 Benefiting Student Clubs for Autism Speaks at Dover’s Monster Mile.
Newman posted a speed of 152.782 / 23.563 which was -0.370 behind Greg Biffle who captured the pole position.
“We were about an eighth-place car it seems like all day. Hopefully, that (qualifying time) will get us a top 10. We’ll work on longer runs tomorrow. We just did short-run stuff today. This track and this car usually lend themselves to long runs. That’s where you are going to make your money on Sunday.”
“Dover always has been one of my favorite tracks, and we’ve had a really good history there. We’ve had a difficult couple of weeks, and I can’t think of any better place where we can turn things around.”
