NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers and personalities Ryan and Krissie Newman, Greg and Nicole Biffle, Martin Truex Jr., Aric Almirola, Michael Waltrip, Darrell Waltrip, Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda will be attending The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk Presented by Officially Licensed NASCAR Race Track Pasta & Cheese at Dover International Speedway.

Ryan and Krissie Newman will be bringing one of the dogs - Mopar - along with them.

Over 1,000 NASCAR fans are expected to take to the track on Saturday, May 31st when The NASCAR Foundation Track Walk returns to the “Monster Mile” for the third year in a row. Not only do walkers get to experience the track from a different perspective and enjoy the sights and sounds from the actual racing surface, but they also get to help support several worthy causes within the NASCAR community including the Greg Biffle Foundation, Formula Smiles Foundation, Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, Ryan Newman Foundation, Women’s Auxiliary of Motorsports, Inc., The Kenny Irwin Jr. Memorial Foundation, Motor Racing Outreach (MRO), Victory Junction Gang, the Autism Society of Delaware and The NASCAR Foundation.

Registration is $30 in advance or $35 at the track. Children under 14 walk for free with a paying adult. Pre registration can be done at www.nascar.com/foundation. On-site registration booth is located across from Gate 4 at the entrance to the Fan Zone.

BACKGROUND: The NASCAR Foundation Track Walks Presented by Officially Licensed NASCAR Race Track Pasta & Cheese are designed to give NASCAR fans the chance to walk around a track and experience the race track from a different perspective. Events coincide with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event dates so that both local community members and race fans can participate. The 2008 event calendar has been announced and Track Walks are scheduled for Las Vegas Motor Speedway (March 2); Texas Motor Speedway (April 6); Dover International Speedway (May 31); New Hampshire Motor Speedway (June 28); Pocono Raceway (TBD); Bristol Motor Speedway (Aug. 23); Lowe’s Motor Speedway (Oct. 11); and Atlanta Motor Speedway (Oct. 25).
